Johnny's Spelling Bee

Warning - Parent Bragging Ahead:

Johnny competed in the spelling bee this week - elementary through 8th grade. As a 3rd grader he finished 4th in the school - beat only by a couple 8th graders and a 6th grader. Missed going to the next level by one 5-letter word (no one remembers what it was).

Made all the more imporessive considering he spent half the night awake crying with an earache, which was diagnosed as 'near burst ear drum' in the morning before the spelling bee!

Great job Johnny.
