Men of Valor Xbox Game Has Shipped To Stores

Los Angeles, CA - October 19, 2004 – Vivendi Universal Games and 2015 Inc. announced today that the Xbox video game system from Microsoft version of their first-person action game Men of Valor has shipped to retail stores in the United States. The game will be released on the PC platform on October 26th. A Macintosh version of the game will ship later this year.

Men of Valor is an historical action experience that portrays infantry combat during the Vietnam War. Combining the latest Unreal technology with the gameplay expertise of 2015 (developers of the award-winning Medal of Honor: Allied Assault), the game immerses the player in the humid jungles of Southeast Asia in the most controversial conflict of the modern era.

Men of Valor Xbox Game follows an African-American Marine through the early stages of the conflict in Vietnam to the Tet Offensive. Touching on the some of the most familiar scenes of the war as they exist in the popular imagination, the player guides his group of fellow soldiers through the hardship and confusion of the battlefield, bonding with them as they do their duty for their country with the heroism and valor typical of the American soldier, but unsung during the turbulent times.

Halo 2 for XBOX Finished

Update from Bungie, the makers of Halo 2XBOX (and all other Halo 2 platforms!). Halo 2 is done. Finished and shipped to a nebulous region known as RTC (Release To Certification) where it will be dumped from eight digital tapes onto a DVD and go through some final testing...
 
There are still many steps between now and the Halo 2's arrival on shelves, including the not-insignificant process of actually manufacturing MILLIONS of copies of the game.

So with an official release date of Nov. 9th for the Halo 2 Xbox game you have only a month to wait!
Might want to rush over to amazon and pre-order Halo 2 for Xbox so we can all get our hands on the very first shipped copies now!
 

Rainbow Six 3 XBOX Game Review

I have been playing Rainbow Six 3 XBOX recently. Yeah it's the old one not the expansion packs, but I picked it up off www.ebay.com for a pretty cheap price.

In case you somehow don't know about the Rainbow Six franchise, you play characters from Tom Clancy books which are part of a counter-terrorist squad. I like it, and unlike the original Rainbow Six, which I kinda played on the PC, Rainbow Six 3 is much easier to control. You can give very easy, quick commands to your squad without having to memorize a million button combinations. In fact many of the commands are pre-set and simply clicking on an object directs your squad to accomplish a basic move like open a door and clear a room or disarm a bomb. You can also go in and create more detailed commands like 'zulu' commands that execute on your go order, and you really need to use them to win, but they are quick and easy too.

What would I like to see added? Split screen multiplayer on the same system rather than through Xbox Live.

Of couse now I need to play the latest expansion Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow.

Overall Rainbow Six 3 XBOX Game Review: I would give Rainbow Six 3 a rating of 3 out of 5, but for value I bump it up to a 4 of 5.

Looking for a little extra loot in Thief: Deadly Shadows™ Why not let yourself get caught? The first time the city guards nab you, they won't kill you—they'll just toss you in the clink. Escaping from prison gives you the chance to rob the joint as well, and you'd be surprised how much loot is sitting around in that deep, dark dock. You only go to jail once, though. After you break out, the guards will kill you, so watch out.

Samurai Warriors vs. Ninja Gaiden

Has anyone out there played Samurai Warriors yet? We are still busy trying to beat an annoying boss to advance in Ninja Gaiden before taking on another Japanese-influenced game (not that it has stopped us from picking up other games though - like the equally great Full Spectrum Warrior). If you've had experience with Samurai Warriors leave us some comments and tell us what you think.
